5 tips to decorate a holiday home in Mallorca and rent it quickly

A house enters through the eyes. That is why the appearance is so important when choosing one or another of the options that a client can find among all the offerings on the Internet. If, in addition, your vacation home is small, you will have to take into consideration the following tips if you want to rent it as quickly as possible:

  • In order for the space to look and help convey the feeling of a comfortable and cozy interior, you need to decorate the home with some essential objects and furniture. But, remember that in decoration, as in life, sometimes, less is more. But, on the contrary, if we decorate too much, we can fall into the error of over-customizing the space with our tastes and style. And there is no writer about tastes; that is to say, maybe what we are crazy about and love, the client is not.

  • It is best to use neutral colors for paint and wall finishes. And the best is white, which never goes out of fashion. To avoid falling into the monotony or clinical aspect, it is advisable to give a touch of color by resorting to chromatic contrast with colors like gray, beige, charcoal, or for the more daring a touch of red, but without going overboard!

  • Light is a decorative element. As far as possible that it enters the space in quantity. White colors, mirrors, together with uncluttered spaces, help to multiply the light in the interior and by visual effect, enlarge the rooms. Make sure that the windows are clear so that natural light enters the interior without obstructing with thick curtains, net curtains or old blinds.

  • Some personal touches, such as natural flowers, help to show a space with charm, uniqueness, details and color. Also indoor plants; but they must be well cared for. Never decorate with your own photographs. That breaks with the magic and the illusion with which the client makes the house his own during his stay.

  • The furniture should be timeless so that it does not suffer with the passing of fashions. The essential pieces should be of good design and resistant, in neutral tones and matching the paint and fabrics of the rest of the decoration.
